Muslim Woman Jailed In Georgia For Not Removing Head Covering
Brought to a Douglas County judge on a traffic violation, a Muslim woman was not allowed into court because she refused to remove her head covering. When she tried to leave, she was stopped and brought before the judge who sentenced her to ten days in jail for contempt. The judge released her 6 hours later, I’m guessing after he realized it wasn’t just a wacky, early Halloween costume.
