Environmentalists In California Want Plastic Bag Tax
Environmentalists from the Ocean Protection Council want to help California residents recycle by providing encouragement in the form of a $.25 tax on every paper or plastic bag given out in stores. While we at The Option encourage protecting our natural resources and preserving our planet for future generations — we get a little disgruntled when it comes in the form of heavy handed crazy.
